My dentist appointment

I went to the dentist the other day. That was my second visit for this month. The first visit was for cleaning which involved fluoride treatment and check-up . With the check-up, the dentist noticed a hole in one of my back upper left teeth which caused concern. She wasn't sure how big was it that's why an x-ray was needed to determine it. I knew there was something going on in that particular tooth because sometimes I felt food stuck in there causing discomfort sometimes but no pain. When I got the result of the x-ray I immediately gave it to the dental clinic for the dentist to check it out and booked another appointment in two days time to see the dentist and discuss further details of the treatment. The x-ray showed quite a big hole of one of my upper left back teeth. She recommended 3 things of what they can do of the hole, and let me decide, a filling (however, because it is a big hole there is a possibility that I will feel pain after it was being filled then a root canal treatment is recommended which is quite expensive), have a root canal treatment right away, or pull out the tooth. When I consulted hubby about it because I could not decide for myself, he recommended the filling to be done, and said, we will see from there. After the filling, I haven't felt any pain or discomfort so far. I just hope and pray that everything will be alright then.
