Appointment

We have an appointment with David's paediatrician today at about 2:00 pm. I rang the receptionist 30 minutes before our appointment time to inquire and she told me that the paediatrician was late and there are still 5 patients in front of us. So I just told her to ring me if the patient in front of us gets in. I really didn't have any idea what time we will be seen by the paediatrician so it is much better to do that way to avoid getting bored while waiting. She then finally rang me about 4:30 pm to let me know that the patient in front of us was already inside with the paediatrician. I just cancelled my grocery shopping which was scheduled after the appointment and do it tomorrow. It's a bit disappointing really especially if you have something already planned, but I have to deal with it. The paediatrician will just come to our place once in every month and she is very good. I can't wait for another month to have David check up.
