In China Town

 While me and my son were walking going back to Central Station from Darling Harbour  through China Town, we saw this busker or street performer in front of a building across Pady's Maket. I couldn't figure out if it is a male or female and I didn't bother to ask. When he/she saw us, he/she asked if my son wanted a picture with him/her. I asked my son and glad he was interested to pose with him/her eventhough he/she was a stranger to him, and here are the photos.

Family photo

My sister took this photo when she, her kids,  nephew and nieces (husband's side)  visited our parents who live in the island of Northern Cebu, Philippines about 2 months ago . It wasn't her intention to capture  a black and white photo but when she got her camera ready, somehow, she accidentally press the setting and this was the result and  I love this photo.

Toothache

Last week, I was suffering from a toothache. It was my first time to experience that thing and it was a nightmare. I wasn't able to go sleep in some nights and didn't able to go to work either for there were times that the pain was quite strong even if I took pain reliever medicine which I bought over the counter, and on Friday I noticed the right part of my face was swelling a bit, although it wasn't that noticeable unless you take a closer look at my face but its uncomfortable. I was becoming worried sick that it would get worse. So I decided to ring our dentist and got a  booking last Monday. Unfortunately,  I couldn't get a Saturday booking for they were fully book at that time..hmmmp.. Anyways, I sought the help of our GP on Saturday morning regarding the swelling  and she prescribed me with antibiotic and advised me to see a dentist as soon as possible. Since I started taking the antibiotic the pain subsided and gradually gone but I still got the swelling until Monday. When the dentist checked out my tooth she said that there is no need to remove the tooth for it is still looking good and we'll keep it as long as we can, and  instead she gave a good clean up of my teeth and will see from there. She did an x-ray of my teeth too. The pain prabably was caused by gums problem or decay. I need to do teeth cleaning and check up once in every 3 months to help and maintain good teeth from now on.

My niece

Meet my niece, Maddie. I think some of you might remember her as I sometimes blog about her. She is nearly 6 years old now and goes to a Catholic School. She is now in Kinde. She loves drawing and singing and told us that she is making a lot of friends in her school. We don't see her very often and miss her and her dad and mum. Maybe one weekend we can pay a visit to there place again.

Back again

Oh, well..I am back again after a few days off from blogging. I had been busy and was not feeling well for a few days. Nevertheless, I was still able to do something in the house and took the kids to school. Our weekend was busy for we did a good clean up of our big fish tank for it was raining and could not do anything outside, so we decided to do something worthwhile inside the house. It was been long since we did a good clean up of our tank. Algae started to appear in the tank which made us worried that it might be harmful to the fish when they get plenty. We changed the water and took out all the decorations and cleaned them getting rid of the algae that grew on them. Glad, after all those hard works that me and hubby did,  the tank is looking good with crystal clear water now. All the fish are looking so happy too.
 Last Saturday,we actually planned to take the kids to Blacktown Show which was held last Saturday and Sunday but we didn't able to because of the wet weather. I am not sure if the event was cancelled or was on despite of the rain. David was a little bit disappointed because he was patiently waiting for that event. He loved the magic show there. Hope the next year  the weather will cooperate so we can attend again .
