Absent

For 3 days I wasn't able to go to work for David was sick on Friday and then I wasn't feeling well since Sunday and Monday. I decided to ring my agency on Sunday night that I would not be able to go to work on Monday. And on Monday afternoon  I asked again another favour to take Tuesday off  to  have a good rest before going back to work again. I was glad it was fine with my agency. I feel good now and full of energy again. Thanks to God.

Tennis tournament

It's my daughter's tennis tournament today, the 3rd and final tournament for this year organized by her tennis school. She has been participating this tournament since the start of this year. But unfortunately, Lady Luck has not been in her side yet. She didn't win any single match but I hope and pray that this time it's her day. We are so proud of her, she is always doing her best every tournament. Playing tournament gives her a great opportunity to develop her tennis techniques and tactics, and to gain more friends who are also tennis enthusiasts like her. So good luck , Dorothy!

Tummy bug

We are glad that David is feeling much better now. Last Friday, he was vomitting and had a nose bleeding and didn't even able to go to school. Hubby took a day off just to be with him on that day because I was at work on that day. He took David to the GP and was given a prescription medicine for his nose which is to be applied twice a day. The doctor told us  that his vomitting maybe due to a tummy bug which we believed he got it from school.

Tongue ulcer

A few days ago, I was suffering from a tongue ulcer. It was painful especially when I talk and eat. It was such a misery. I decided to go to the chemist to seek for a pain reliever. I was given an over the counter ointment and told me to use ice too to numb the ulcer pain. When I got home I did exactly what the chemist told me, applied the ointment to the affected area every 3 hours and ice every now and then. After 2 applications only of the ointment, I was glad the pain was gone and no more discomfort and I felt great.
