These are the last batch of my lilium blooms and my favorites among my collection. I don't see any buds coming anymore. Unfortunately this season, their flowers are not that bigger and many, unlike the past years but we still enjoy them.

My kids are back to school

Today about 735,000 students across NSW head back to school for 2010. I woke up early to get everything ready. Dorothy and David have been waiting for this day to come because they already missed their friends and the fun in school. They woke up early too and were so excited. I stayed in the school until David got to his new class (yr 1) and glad he is with the teacher whom he had been wishing for. Dorothy is in year 6 now. And by the way, this coming Monday, is one of the most exciting days for Dorothy for they are going to have their Swimming Carnival which will be held in Blacktown Aquatic Center and she is going to compete again for their team. I hope she will do alright in the competition like last year and most of all have fun all throughout the day. Good luck!

I'm back

Yes, I am back on track now after few days of being away. We arrived last Sunday afternoon. I missed my blogs and everyone here but didn't have much time to sit down in front of my computer right away. I was stacked with some works around the house that needed my attention and did grocery shopping for the things we need for the week. The unpacking is always my worst part in every trip plus the trip is over, so no excitement anymore. But I was just glad that I was able to finish it before Monday and before my laziness settles in. My garden had not been watered for days and thankfully there are no casualties occurred when I checked it out.
We had sizzling hot days during our entire holiday but glad we still managed to have a fantastic time. We stayed in a friend's house in the country side and headed off every afternoon to the beach when temperatures subsided, swimming, walking, relaxing and enjoying the sea breeze and the views around until early evening. We all had a great time and can't wait for the next holiday.

Away for few days

I will be away for few days and I wont be able to visit you within these days. We are going away for a short holiday trip up to the North Coast of NSW. Every year we schedule a trip there to visit friends and enjoy the ambiance of the country side. We are looking forward to this holiday to get out of the hustle and bustle of the city once in while, spending quality time together with family, visit some friends and relaxing before the school days start (Jan 28).

And I would like to thank everyone for always visiting my blog, leaving comments/messages. I really appreciate it. I will return your visit as soon as I come back from the trip. Thank you all once again.

Chinese Garden

Despite my busy days, I managed to grab a chance to visit Darling Harbour again but this time our destination is the Chinese Garden. We've been in Darling Harbour a few times visiting Sydney Aquarium, Sydney Wildlife World or just enjoying the views around while the kids get busy themselves in the playground. With all those chances I had,I never got a chance to set foot in the Chinese Garden. We just pass it going to and from our destination. But I promised myself to get glimpses of it one day. And it was yesterday I scheduled our trip. We took the train after breakfast to Central Station and we walked down from there to Darling Harbour enjoying the views of the city at the same time. I took David with me as he,like me enjoys visiting gardens with ponds and interesting plants while Dorothy decided to stay at home with her Dad. And so here are some of the pictures I took.
