Watery Wednesday

This is one of the water features in Cook and Phillip Park Aquatic and Fitness Centre. It is located near St Marys Cathedral in the heart of the Sydney CBD.

I am sharing this post with Watery Wednesday . Please visit the link to see more watery sites all around the world.

Impressive - is it just decorative, I wonder, or is it also
a play waterfall?

Public fountains are always welcome oases of calm in the midst of frenzied cities!

FANCY THAT!

A hunter of all kinds of water
Had neither a son nor a daughter;
But ocean and sea
Provided such glee—
He fancied adopting an otter!

Very interesting. Many years ago, I spent two glorious days in Sydney, prior to a twelve day cruise which ended up in Auckland. What a wonderful part of the world.

I have, with great sadness, been following the terrible calamities that have befallen Australia. Your country has been in my thoughts and prayers.
