School of fish

We went to the city again last Sunday to visit Australian National Maritime Museum in Darling Harbour and while we were walking along Cockle Bay to go to our destination, we saw a school of big fish swimming close to the surface of the water. They attracted many passers by. No one throw food to them but it seemed they were just happy entertaining us. There were also a school of smaller fish around and some other kind of fishes. We saw lots of small jelly fish too. But our attention was drawn to this school of big fish. Not sure what are they called.
