Last Wednesday

It was the annual school disco in the school where my kids are, a fund raising organized by the school teachers . Dorothy was hesitant whether to attend or not and can't really decide at first. She was not sure too if her friends are going to attend. That's why I didn't bother to get her a ticket at all. But the night before the disco, I asked her one last time to make sure, and she said that she finally decided to attend. My problem was her ticket, I wasn't sure if tickets were available for purchase on that day as they were selling the tickets days before the day of the disco. When I took the kids to school the following morning, I approached one of the teachers and inquired about the Disco ticket and it was a positive response, yes, Dorothy was still able to get a ticket from her class teacher. (Dorothy, in pink, and her friends. Picture was taken last year.)

David on the other hand is not into this type of socialization. He doesn't like to go. Last year, he went, but he didn't dance at all and just sat down watching his friends dancing instead. He is a bit shy to dance. I hope by next year he will change and join the fun with his friends dancing.

Eden, I'm so behind on reading your blog. Please forgive me if I miss any of your posts. You are always so kind to visit my blog and leave a comment and I appreciate it very much.

I have two step granddaughters named Haley and Maddie. They are almost 16 and almost 18 and I remember when they were the age of Dorothy. Dorothy and her friends look so happy to be together and I like how they are all dressed up looking pretty.
