At Nurragingy lake

Ohh..ohh.. I can't catch it!
come on, i'm waiting for my feed,
where's mine? i'm a bit hungry!

We come here very often to feed the ducks and geese, and take leisurely walk along the walking tracks surrounded by remnant bushland. Place: Nurragingy Reserve, Blacktown (West Sydney).

We used to feed the ducks too at the nearby park here - The Gold Coast Botanical Garden formerly Rosser Park. But starting last year (i guess), the council has a "Don't Feed the Birds" signs around the pond. They claim people feed them too much, making the ducks fat, etc etc. Some claim the ducks get sick too. Apparently, there are people who feed the ducks rubbish stuff. bummer! Apil nuon ang tanan, dile na mi malingaw. :D

hermz, there are parks also here that prohibit the feeding of ducks, like the japanese garden.one of the reason is, because of so many people who come there everyday to feed the ducks, the water get so dirty and a certain type of algae develop which are poisonous to the fish in the pond.So far this pond in the pic, feeding of ducks is not yet prohibited. I hope it will not come to that point because this is the only place close to us where we can enjoy feeding the ducks.
