David's Tekwondo photos

David went well during the grading session. Master A was so impressed of their performance and congratulated each of them after the grading. David is now a blue two stripes belt and he will get his certificate on the first day of the lesson next term. I wasn't able to take some photos during David's performance but I was able to capture some during their group photo session after the event .

The ducks

I am sharing with you a short video clip that I took a few months ago when we visited a pond nearby. The kids had a great time feeding the ducks for there were so many came by. But there were two ducks that caught my attention at the opposite side of the pond. They didn't bother to come and grab some pieces of bread that the kids were throwing into the water but instead they dove with their head down into the water probably catching some fish or something.

Ruby Tuesday

This is an old red money box phone that I saw in Badgerys Attic in the Blue Mountains.

My niece

I remember I posted some photos of my niece sometime last June, and here again I am sharing with you photos of her that I took while we were in my sister's place the other Sunday. She is 4 years old now and attends pre-school 2 times a week and really enjoys it. She is very close to David and Dorothy and always miss them so much because we don't get to see her as much as we would like because they live far from where we live.
She loves dancing and she is into a ballet lesson every Saturday. She is so sweet and quite a chatter. She loves to collect Barbie dolls.

In my sister's backyard

After our lunch the other Sunday at the restaurant in the local club at my sister's place, we headed to my sister's house because the kids really wanted to spend time and play with their little cousin, Madie and of course, we wanted to spend time with my sister and her husband catching each other as well. Even if from time to time we talk over the phone but seeing and spending time with them personally is really a great feeling.
While the kids were playing at the backyard, I grabbed a chance to take some photos of them. I was glad Dorothy was in the mood for picture taking because sometimes she doesn't feel like it, shy or something, I really don't know.

Camera Critters

I noticed the other day that one of my flowers had a visitor.

It was a cabbage butterfly. We often see a few of them flying around in the backyard.

Dorothy's tennis lesson

Last Friday, I finally settled Dorothy's tennis lesson fee for next term. I availed the early bird payment which is what I always do every time I make payment for her lesson because I can save a little by doing so. Her tennis lesson time is still the same from 8:00 to 9:00 am every Saturday. She was moved to that time from 9:00 to 10:00 since that is the only time that suits her tennis ability now.
The other week I received her current tennis lesson grade and I was surprised that she improved a lot with a remark that she is ready for competition.
