Camera Critters

While we were in a park close to a beach watching the kids playing in the playground, I spotted these cockatoos up in the tree. It looks like they were making a home for their coming little ones though.
Then, one flew away leaving the other one behind.
And just up the next tree nearby, an onlooker taking a close watch of the two cockatoos.
And a group on the grass..

Sky Watch Friday

My entry for this week's Sky Watch Friday are photos taken on different occasions. The first one was taken on Good Friday last year from our backyard.
The second photo was taken on the 20th of Nov'09 after a scorching hot day with a thunderstorm later in the afternoon. We were driving going to the Southern Highland of NSW to attend a b-day party celebration of our relative (hubby's side) when we saw the sun breaks through the clouds.
And the last two photos were taken last Saturday from our backyard at about 7:30 pm. The tree is bird friendly and from time to time we can see birds sitting up there. At that time its occupants were the magpies.

Watery Wednesday

My first time to join in Watery Wednesday. I thought to join because I have some photos to share with you which I have been keeping for a while in my albums. These pictures were taken during our visit to Garie Beach one weekend. The beach is approximately 1 km long in the Royal National Park south of Sydney.

Our Christmas tree

As a way to welcome the month of December, my first post for this month are pictures taken on the night we made our Christmas tree. We finally grabbed the chance to have our Christmas tree back right on its place last weekend. We definitely deserved a good pat on our shoulder for doing such a good job on record time.Well done to the kids, who were my great helpers.Without those 4 little hands, I might not be able to finish it quickly. I only did the finishing touches on it as the kids did most of the decorations and I think I did a great job too:). The kids always do a great job decorating our old Christmas tree with excitement. I feel happy and satisfied of what they had done to our Old Christmas Tree. Our Christmas tree is an old one. I bought it few days after I delivered Dorothy and until now, we're still using it. It is still in good shape and condition because after every Christmas season, I always properly place it in its original box before putting it away in my storage unit in our laundry room. It is our first Christmas tree since we got married and plenty of great memories with it. That's why I dont have plan to replace it just yet.
