14 years here

Today is my 14 years of living here in Australia. The first time I  set foot on this foriegn land is still vivid in my memory . I arrived here when I was about 3 months pregnant with my first child and in the middle of their winter season. Hubby was with me during my entire trip because he went back to the Philippines when I got approval of my visa application and wanted to accompany me in coming here. I was so sick at that time being pregnant  and arriving here in the middle of winter and bitterly cold was really so hard that there were times that I wanted to go back to the Philippines. I felt more sick  then because of the cold weather but I was so thankful to my husband for his never ending love and support especially during those hard times, I was able to overcome all of that. Although it took time to adjust everything. After a few years of living here, I gradually get used to the weather and found many Filipina friends too.
