Ruby Tuesday

Here is my RT post. This was taken when we visited our friends, an old couple who live about an hour drive from where we live in the Southern Highland, NSW. They are raising chickens for eggs for their consumption and sometimes they sell some. The last time we visited their place, she gave me 2 trays of eggs (12doz/tray). The kids always enjoy the visit too for they can get the opportunity to feed the chickens and sometimes gather the fresh eggs.

Hi Eden,
Their combs are certainly a natural ruby color.
My Grandma raised chickens but I would never gather the eggs if the chickens were in the coop. I was so afraid they would peck at me.
Great shot!

I remember my pet chicken her name is "Esther". We used to have 25 chickens but our neighbors dog came and massacre our chickens and one of the victim is my pet. Like your shots thanks for sharing!
