Moon

I took the opportunity to capture some snaps of the moon while I was outside after our dinner. But some were blurry and not worth sharing. However, I have two photos which I think are good enough to share with you. Hope you like them.

Our Christmas tree

One of the things that my kids love doing, especially David every December is to decorate our Christmas tree. They did it last Monday afternoon after school. I didn't have work on that day so it gave me a chance to take out our old Christmas tree from where I always keep it. I bought a few Christmas ornaments for the Christmas tree in the morning to replace the old ones because some were looking old and the paints were wearing off already.

I still have to buy an additional roll of that red beads chain because as you can see it is not enough to wind around the Christmas tree, and another pack of red poinsettia with bell as well .

I haven't done my Christmas shopping yet and I am planning to do it sometime next week when the kids are in school. Hopefully I can finish it a week before Christmas.

Mushroom with oyster sauce

Dinner last night was fantastic, we had grilled beef, vegetable salad and mushroom with oyster sauce. Me and hubby absolutely love mushroom and every weekend we always grab a chance to cook mushroom either in the bbq or stir-fry it with oyster sauce to have extra flavour. I even make mushroom omelette sometimes for breakfast. Since it was raining yesterday, hubby didn't get the chance to fire up our bbq so I thought to just stir-fry the mushroom with oyster sauce.

ingredients:
button mushrooms
crushed garlic
chopped onion
oyster sauce
pepper
sesame oil

Today

While I was having a nap, the sound of the loud thunder woke me up. I groggily looked outside through the glass window, and I could see the sky was covered with thick dark clouds. Then suddenly rain was pelting down and I realised I have some clothes hanging out on the clothes line and the guinea pigs were still outside too. We put the guinea pigs outside so they can graze grass while I was cleaning their hutch but I didn't put them back to the hutch after I finished cleaning it. I called Dorothy to help me and she hurriedly went outside to get the guinea pigs who were already scared to death, while I took down the clothes from the clothes line which were already a bit wet. Then we noticed that it was hailing the size of small marbles which stopped after a few minutes but kept raining hard. Now, the rain has finally stopped but it's quite cold.

Camera Critters

It was David who spotted this spider in our backyard while he was playing and called my attention to take a photo. I cannot identify what type of spider this is. I have tried searching but no such luck.

On our way to Jamberoo

Just some of the photos that I took on our way to Jamberoo, south coast of NSW. These were taken when we were just a few minutes away before we were due to arrive. I just love the lush green country views and can't resist to take a few photos. Although these are not of good quality because I took them through the glass window of the bus but I still like to share them with you.
