One winter day

I just one to share with you this photo that I captured last week. I was at the backyard when I spotted the sun shining brightly after it was covered by patch of clouds.
"There's always light after the dark. You have to go through that dark place to get to it, but it's there, waiting for you. It's like riding on a train through a dark tunnel. If you get so scared you jump off in the middle of the ride, then you're there, in the tunnel, stuck in the dark. You have to ride the train all the way to the end of the ride." by Han Nolan

Lunch last Saturday

I've mentioned in my previous post that last weekend was pretty busy and even didn't get a chance to prepare our lunch :(. So I suggested fish and chips for lunch instead and hubby was fine with my idea. The kids liked it too. So I went to the shop near the train station to purchase our lunch for we all love the fish and chips there.

Busy weekend

I have a pretty busy weekend.Washing our clothes was the first thing I did early this morning. Then I took Dorothy to her tennis lesson at 9: am. After her lesson we went straight to the shop to do our weekly grocery shopping for early in the afternoon we were invited to a friend's birthday party. I was actually looking forward to the party because that was a great chance to see some of my friends (from my hometown in the Phils) who I had not seen for a while plus the delicious food, hmm..yumm.. and earlier in the night a friend came over for a visit with her daughter. I prepared something to devour while they were here. And tomorrow, it's a Father's Day and we are going to celebrate it with my husband's family at home. It is going to be a big day. Hope the weather will be fine.

My Taekwondo blue belter

David earned his blue belt last term after he successfully passed the grading session. He has been doing Taekwondo since July of last year. He loves doing it and hopes to get a black belt someday. This is the thing that keeps him busy after school every Friday. The Taekwondo lesson takes an hour at the community hall in our place which is not far from where we live.
