Puto Cheese

I've been wanting to try to make puto cheese. A friend of mine in our neighborhood always makes puto cheese and never forget to share some with us. Since the kids as well as hubby are loving it, I decided to give it a try. My first attempt after such a long time of wanting to make one. I was glad that I was able to squeeze in a bit of time making it during school holidays despite of the kids bugging me around.I used puto pans which were sent by my sister from the Phils long time ago and never been used. I just stocked it up in our cabinet and totally forgotten it until this time that I got the nerves to try to make puto cheese . It comes pretty handy with heaps of greaseproof paper cases to line with the pans as well which is more easier for me and save a lot of time. I ended up making puto with cheese and without cheese. The kids and hubby love both.

Blogger Buddy Award

First and foremost, I would like to thank again my dearest friend,DavidFunk for sharing me this wonderful award. Even if I am not really sure if I deserve this award but honestly I feel honored again. He is one of the nicest and sweetest friends I have met here. Thank you so much once again, my dear friend, David.

Now, I am passing this wonderful award to all my friends in my list who dont have this award yet. Have fun blogging.

Writing on the Sand

I just saw him the moment he started to jot down his name on the sand with a piece of stick. He wrote it very carefully and neatly aiming to be perfect with full concentration all throughout until he finished it. It amazed me that even on the sand he still writes beautifully. Writing is apparent as one of his favourite things to do aside from drawing.
Before he started kindergarten , he just had a scribble-like handwriting that you cannot even hardly read. But with constant practice and with determination each night, he got it right, writing neatly and beautifully.

Six Unimportant Things That Makes Me Happy

Thank you so much to my dearest friends, tammy and Dhemz for sharing me this tag. This tag is all about those things that are not really important yet for some reasons, they bring happiness into our everyday lives that spending money for them is not a waste for they make us happy. So here are my list of 6 unimportant things:

1. Scented Candles : I always love scented candles and cant help myself to have one burning as if there is nothing more relaxing and soothing. I am always drawn to the shops that sell them and can't help myself but to buy sometimes the scents that I love most. My favourites are lavender, frangipani and musk.

2. Old Books- Oh.. I don't know what i have been up to. I just love to collect and collect but never read them. You can tell by the look of it that they are quite old. A choice of mystery, adventure and romance are all in there. I got them from garage sales and from friends. I have them stocked in one of our cabinets. Sometimes I come to the point of wanting to throw them away so I can use the cabinet for some other things but never done it.

3. Vases and plant pots- Another thing what I am crazy about of less important is collecting plant pots and vases. Again, you can tell by the look of it that those are inexpensive and not grand but in good quality. I have them for years now. I got them from "hunting treasure" around here too. I still got few that I didn't include in the picture taking because they are in use at the moment.

4. Pocket Notebooks - These are the latest addition to my collection I bought since the start of the year. hehehe..I have a couple that I carried everyday if in case I need it. Everytime i go to Office Works shop, I never forget to buy one for me. 5. Mugs- If ever I can get a chance and have a bit of extra money, this is one of the things that comes to my mind. The one in the picture is the latest addition to my collection. I just stock them in the cabinet and use them if I need to. Sometimes, if friends are coming over for a cuppa and if I feel I'd like to use something for a change, I just select from my collection.

6. Succulent Plants - I cant never take off my eyes of them and can't stop myself collecting them either. They are truly a beauty . They are versatile type that can grow very well to any weather conditions, soil type, indoor and outdoor. They dont need too much care and attention and easy to grow so it suits very well to my lifestyle. I have quite a collection. I love their colors and shapes not to mention their interesting flowers. The pictures below are just some of my favourites among my collection

Views around Crowdy Lighthouse

Just want to share you some of the pics that I took during our North Coast Holiday, taken around Crowdy Lighthouse, Taree, NSW. I dont know if these are appealing to your taste ..hehehe.. I just clicked and clicked my camera if there was an opportunity. Some of these were taken along the way while the car was going up to the hill where the lighthouse location is. It was windy and the kids were a bit of a distraction in getting the pictures...hahaha.. but it was alright. They were just more excited than I was.

On Holy Thursday Night

Not quite a perfectly shaped sphere yet. It glowed magically with the brightness of a brilliant morning sun.
