Camera Critters

The Willie Wagtail is the largest, and most well-known, of the Australian fantails. The plumage is black above with a white belly. The Willie Wagtail can be distinguished from other similar-sized black and white birds by its black throat and white eyebrows and whisker marks. The name wagtail stems from the constant sideways wagging of the tail. Young birds resemble the adults, but have paler, slightly rusty edges to the feathers of the wings.

Runner-up

You might remember my previous post about my daughter, Dorothy who participated in the tennis tournament the other Sunday. Well, she was a bit luckier this time for she was able to reach in the final round. Even though she didn't get the first place  but she was happy of what she achieved. Being in the final is something to be proud already. She worked so hard and finally paid off.She was a runner-up and we are so proud of her.

Yesterday

It was our first day of December, the first month of our summer and as predicted the temperature soared as high as nearly 40 degrees C. It was so hot  and very humid even if we are just entering our summer season. I wonder how the coming weather in the next couple of months like. With weather like this , I am always think of going to the beach but yesterday we didn't get a chance because the kids had a dentist appointment in the afternoon. I did my grocery shopping late in the morning and can't believe that the mall was already jam pack with peole  to beat the heat. But glad the weather today is far better than yesterday for it is cooler and overcast. I can do a little work in my garden for it has been neglected for weeks now.
