Mowing the lawn

I mowed our backyard lawn this morning after my breakfast. I love mowing when it is not hot nor cold. Our backyard is quite big and takes more than an hour to mow. I use our old push mower which is still in good condition. Mowing the lawn is a good form of  exercise and burn excess calories. It is just like doing an aerobic class. So I am glad that even if  I wasn't  able to do my morning walk this weekend, I still able to do an exercise and at the same time completing a task

Fresh flowers

As a big fan of fresh flowers, I really love them inside the house. It helps to brighten up  and adds colour inside the house .Since hubby and David have a allergic reaction to pollen, I minimise to have it by having only a single vase with few fresh cut flowers on it. At least I can still enjoy them inside the house that wouldn't hurt hubby and David at all.

Last Sunday

We celebrated Father's Day last Sunday with a bbq with my hubby's family in our place, and having a fine weather on that day was a real bonus, not so cold. I prepared  Filipino noodles and fruit salad which are always a huge hit on the table. Hubby barbecued chicken and beef.  It was a fun filled day for everyone with great foods

Anyways, here are some of hubby's Father's Day presents from David, Dorothy and his children from his previous marriage.

Camera Critters

These were taken yesterday during St Marys Spring Festival. One of its attractions is the animal farm where children can get a chance to feed and  touch the animals. For a dollar children  can get a cup of feed for the animals  and here are some photos of David having fun feeding the goats and sheeps.
